OUR MISSION & PURPOSES

 

The Chinese Bible Church of Howard County is non-denominational, Christ centered, Biblically based, evangelistic, and diversified in service. The mission of the Church is to bring glory to God through the exaltation of Jesus Christ, the edification of believers, and the evangelization of the world. More specifically, our purposes include:

1.               To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as set forth in the Bible in the Howard County (Ellicott City, Columbia, and Clarksville etc.) and metropolitan Baltimore areas, particularly, but most exclusively, to the Chinese.

2.               To labor for the salvation of souls.

3.               To provide opportunities for worshipping the Trine God.

4.               To instruct children, youth, and adults in biblical doctrines and standards of conduct.

5.               To equip the saints for service.

6.               To support world-wide missions.

7.               To promote the fellowship of the saints in Christ.

8.               To glorify God in all things according to the Bible.

We hold Sunday Worship Services, various kinds of Christian fellowship, Cell Group and Prayer meeting to meet the needs of our Christian community. Our sincere desire is that all may receive from God the abundant life as well as joy and peace that is in Christ Jesus.

 

We accept everyone who admits the Lordship of Jesus Christ in his/her life, and welcome anyone who seeks to know Him!

CBCHC Inclement Weather Policy:

Every effort will be made to conduct Sunday worship and other Sunday programs. However, in extreme hazardous weather, treacherous travel conditions, severe damage to facilities, and/or a power outage, the church will have to cancel Sunday service.

In the event of a cancellation, an announcement will be posted on:
